The company sells its products primarily to semiconductor manufacturers, semiconductor equipment and materials suppliers, and hard disk manufacturers in the United States, Asia, and Europe. Entegris was founded in 1966 and is headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota. Entegris merged with Mykrolis Corporation, a provider of liquid and gas purification products to the semiconductor industry, in August 2005.
