The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index.
The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the index or ADRs, GDRs and EDRs. It may invest the remainder of assets in securities not included in the Index, but which First Trust believes will help the Fund track its index. The index is a dividend weighted index of 30 securities which includes high-dividend yielding companies across 18 European countries. The fund is nondiversified.
