The company markets its products to target markets and customers, including multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies. It sells its products through a combination of business development and sales activities in collaborative relationships with customers in various markets. The company has strategic partnerships with BASF and Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials. Nanophase Technologies was co-founded in 1989 by Richard W. Siegel and is headquartered in Romeoville, Illinois.
