Oil States International, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides specialty products and services to oil and gas drilling and production companies worldwide. It operates in three segments: Offshore Products, Tubular Services, and Well Site Services. Offshore Products segment engages in the design, manufacture, fabrication, inspection, assembly, repair, testing, and marketing of subsea equipment and offshore vessel and rig equipment. Its products and services include flexible bearings and connector products; subsea pipeline products; marine winches, mooring and lifting systems, and rig equipment; and blowout preventor stack assembly, integration, testing, and repair services. This segment also provides forged steel Y-shaped connectors for joining two pipelines; pressure-balanced safety joints for protecting pipelines from anchor snags or a shifting sea-bottom; electrical isolation joints; and hot tap clamps that enable new pipelines to be joined into existing lines without interrupting the flow of petroleum product. In addition, Offshore Products segment provides pipeline repair hardware, which primarily includes repair clamps used to seal leaks; mechanical connectors used in repairing subsea pipelines; and flanges used to correct misalignment and swivel ring flanges. Tubular Services segment primarily offers a range of casing and tubing, threading, remediation, logistical, and inventory services; and e-commerce pricing, ordering, tracking, and financial reporting capabilities. Well Site Services segment offers workover and drilling rigs, rental equipment and work force accommodations, catering, and logistics services. The company's customers primarily include direct end-users, engineering and design companies, and prime contractors. Oil States International was incorporated in 1995 as CE Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to CONEMSCO, Inc. in 1996. Further, it changed its name to Oil States International, Inc. in 2000. The company is based in Houston, Texas.
