It has strategic alliance with Intel Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. The company was founded in 1993. It was formerly known as ACC Corp., Inc. and subsequently changed its name to Red Hat Software, Inc. Further, the company changed its name to Red Hat, Inc. in 1999. Red Hat is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina.
