As of June 6, 2005, it operated a fleet of 120 Embraer regional jets (ERJ), including 68 ERJ-145s, 15 ERJ-140s, 17 ERJ-135s, and 20 Embraer 170's. The company was incorporated in 1996 and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. is a subsidiary of WexAir LLC.
