The company's Control Systems segment consists of two groups, the Components and Packaged Applications Group (CPAG) and the Automation Control and Information Group (ACIG). CPAG offers motor starters, contactors, push buttons, signaling devices, termination and protection devices, relays and timers, adjustable speed drives, motor control centers, and drive systems, and condition sensors. ACIG provides controllers, control platforms, input/output devices, rotary and linear motion control systems, electronic operator interface devices, sensors, industrial computers, and machine safety components. In addition, this segment offers multivendor customer support, training, automation systems integration, asset management, and manufacturing information solutions for batch process industries. The Control Systems segment serves consumer products, transportation, oil and gas, mining, metals, and forest products markets. The Power Systems segment provides mechanical products, including mounted bearings, gear reducers, mechanical drives, conveyor pulleys, couplings, bushings, clutches, and motor brakes, as well as electrical products, such as industrial and engineered motors, adjustable speed drives, repair services, motor and mechanical maintenance solutions, training, and consulting services to original equipment manufacturers, end-users, and distributors. This segment serves mining, cement, aggregates, environmental, forest products, food/beverage, oil and gas, metals, and material handling markets. Rockwell Automation has operations primarily in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. The company was founded in 1928 and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
