TOR Minerals products also include BARTEX, an inert extender pigment used in coatings; and HALTEX, a pigment applied in electrical wire and cable insulation, thermoset SMC/BMC molding compounds, thermoplastic profiles, PVC and rubber products, and specialty coatings, as well as adhesives and sealants. The company distributes its products through a network of direct sales representatives and independent stocking distributors in the United States, as well as through distributors and agents internationally. TOR Minerals was formed in 1973 and is headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas.
