In addition, Cimarex Energy markets third party gas incidental to the sale of its production. Through its subsidiary, Cimarex Energy Services, Inc., the company purchases and markets Cimarex's and third-party natural gas production for resale. In addition, it provides compression, gathering, and gas processing services in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. As of December 31, 2004, the company's proved reserves were totaled 449.0 billion cubic feet equivalent consisting of 364.6 billion cubic feet of gas and 14.1 million barrels of oil. Cimarex was formed in 2002 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
